About the Role As an Electrical Integration Engineer in Autonomous Driving, you will play a critical role in designing, integrating, and validating electrical systems for autonomous vehicles. You will be responsible for power circuit design, wiring harness design, electrical installation, and hands-on modification of vehicle wiring and related equipment. Working closely with R&D teams, vehicle modification teams, and external manufacturers, you will help define electrical requirements, create circuit diagrams and wiring harness specifications, support vehicle build-up, and improve the safety and reliability of autonomous driving systems in real-world operations. Responsibilities
Design power circuits and electrical wiring systems for autonomous driving vehicles and related equipment Create electrical circuit diagrams, wiring harness diagrams, and installation specifications Prepare installation and mounting specifications for vehicle modification teams, and provide implementation instructions Coordinate with external manufacturers, suppliers, and vehicle modification partners to ensure correct implementation of electrical designs Perform hands-on wiring work, including manual fabrication, modification, repair, and installation of electrical harnesses when necessary Participate in technical discussions related to autonomous driving systems, including sensors, computing units, power distribution, and vehicle networks Support on-site installation, configuration, and basic validation of sensors, computing platforms, electrical components, and related equipment Troubleshoot electrical, hardware, communication, and power-related issues during vehicle bring-up and field testing Conduct research, improvement, and validation activities to enhance the safety and reliability of electrical systems
Requirements
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and experience in wiring harness design Experience or strong interest in power circuit design, vehicle electrical systems, or electrical integration Ability to perform hands-on electrical work, including wiring, soldering, crimping, cable modification, and manual harness fabrication Basic PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Willingness to learn basic Linux operations and networking knowledge Ability to investigate technical issues, learn independently, solve problems proactively, and summarize results in documents Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, external manufacturers, and vehicle modification partners Working proficient in any two of Chinese, Japanese, and English. Respect for team members and willingness to learn from and support each other
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in vehicle modification, vehicle customization, or electrical installation work Experience in on-site debugging, system integration, or vehicle bring-up Knowledge of embedded software or control programming, such as C/C++, RTOS, or CAN communication Knowledge of vehicle-related regulations, safety standards, or radio regulations Standard driver’s license
