【Company Overview】 ArkEdge Space Inc. is a space startup founded in 2018, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and operation of small satellites. We focus on the development of ultra-small satellites, particularly 6U and 50kg-class satellites, as well as the creation of satellite constellations—networks of multiple satellites. In addition, we offer a wide range of services, including the provision of related components and software, as well as the operation of ground stations for satellite control.

【Job Overview】 To deliver real-time, high-accuracy orbit determination and time synchronisation for satellites, you will manage, develop, innovate, simulate, and validate filter-based algorithms and implement them on FPGA. Your ODTS algorithms will have applications on spacecraft from LEO to the Moon.
【Specific Responsibilities】
- Design and develop orbit determination and time synchronization algorithms using filters
- Simulate and evaluate algorithm accuracy
- Innovate new algorithms and techniques to optimize performance
- Define specifications and design software
- Implement and optimize FPGA solutions
- Manage outsourced development when necessary

【Tools Used】 MATLAB / Python (Simulation, Algorithm Validation) VHDL / Verilog (FPGA Implementation) C / C++ (Embedded Development) Git (Version Control) Required Skills
- Knowledge of Kalman filter theory and applications
- Practical experience in FPGA development (VHDL / Verilog)
- Experience in embedded system development
- Experience in numerical simulation (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge of satellite orbit mechanics and perturbation theory
- Experience with FPGA high-level synthesis (HLS)
- Experience in satellite onboard system development
- Project management experience
- Interested in space development and positioning systems
- Able to solve technical challenges logically
- Willing to learn new technologies and knowledge actively 。Able to work collaboratively in a team
- Annual salary: 7 million to 12 million JPY ※determined based on experience and skills
- Overtime pay will be provided separately
Ariake Office (Koto-ku, Tokyo) ※Primarily office-based, with partial remote work available. ※Smoking prohibited in all indoor areas (measures against passive smoking).
Employment Type: Full-time Employee
- Flexible Working Hours (Full Flex)
- Prescribed Working Hours: 8 hours/day (60-minute break)
- Typical Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (example)
Probation Period: 3 months (No changes to employment conditions during this period)
