【Company Overview】 ArkEdge Space Inc. is a space startup founded in 2018, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and operation of small satellites. We focus on the development of ultra-small satellites, particularly 6U and 50kg-class satellites, as well as the creation of satellite constellations—networks of multiple satellites. 【Job Overview】 Analyze signal formats for low Earth orbit (LEO) and lunar navigation satellites, and develop interface and signal definition documents. Additionally, develop software-defined radios (SDR) for transmitting and receiving positioning signals following these specifications and integrate them with an orbital simulator to construct a signal simulator capable of mimicking signals transmitted from orbit. Develop new positioning standards to shape the future of satellite navigation.
【Specific Responsibilities】
- Analyze positioning signal formats for LEO and lunar positioning satellites.
- Define signal definition and interfaces in appropriate documentation
- Develop software-defined radios (SDR) for transmitting and receiving navigation signals.
- Develop a signal simulator by integrating the SDR with an orbital simulator.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of positioning signal generation and analysis.
- Utilize open-source software for development.
- Ability to communicate with the navigation community and receiver manufacturers

【Tools Used】
- Common GNSS processing software
- SDR platforms (GNU Radio, USRP, HackRF, etc.)
- Python, C/C++
- Experience in software-defined radio (SDR) development
- Knowledge and experience with GNSS format standards (e.g. RINEX, RTCM)
- Development experience in RF signal generation, reception and analysis
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming
- Knowledge of GNSS/GPS signal generation and processing
- Experience GNSS testing and analysis
- Experience using signal processing tools such as MATLAB or GNU Radio
- Knowledge of orbital mechanics and satellite-based navigation technologies
- Interest in cutting-edge space technologies with a willingness to take on new challenges
- Ability to efficiently develop using open-source software
- Strong team collaboration skills to drive projects forward
- Annual salary: 6 million to 12 million JPY ※determined based on experience and skills
- Overtime pay will be provided separately
Ariake Office (Koto-ku, Tokyo) ※Primarily office-based, with partial remote work available. ※Smoking prohibited in all indoor areas (measures against passive smoking).
Employment Type: Full-time Employee
- Flexible Working Hours (Full Flex)
- Prescribed Working Hours: 8 hours/day (60-minute break)
- Typical Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (example)
Probation Period: 3 months (No changes to employment conditions during this period)
