Join the team behind Sakana Chat 🐟, Sakana Marlin 🐬, and Sakana Fugu 🐡. As a Product Manager, you will define product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for AI products that redefine what is possible. This role is central to translating Sakana AI's advanced research capabilities into products that create significant market impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Product vision and strategy - Define the long-term vision and strategic direction for assigned product(s)
- Roadmap development - Create and prioritize product roadmaps based on user needs, market opportunity, and technical capabilities
- Market analysis - Conduct competitive analysis, identify market trends, and evaluate opportunities for AI-powered solutions
- User research - Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand customer needs and pain points
- Requirements definition - Translate strategic direction into clear product requirements and user stories
- Go-to-market strategy - Develop pricing strategies, marketing positioning, and customer acquisition plans
- Stakeholder management - Align research, engineering, design, and business teams around product vision
- Metrics and analytics - Define success metrics and analyze product performance data
- Launch planning - Oversee product launches and coordinate cross-functional efforts
- Customer engagement - Work directly with customers to gather feedback and validate product-market fit
必須スキル
- 3+ years of product management experience ideally in technology or SaaS companies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in both English and Japanese
- Experience with user research and customer discovery
- Understanding of business metrics and data-driven decision making
- Ability to work with technical teams and understand technical constraints and possibilities
- Project management and organizational skills
